Bench with multiple functions: a recharging station for bikes and smartphones and electronic devices.
E-LOUNGE is a bench with built-in bike rack, with a refined design that carries the triple charging role for electric bikes, smartphones, and for people sitting down to rest a bit after a country or mountain trip.
Statement of the jury of German Design Award
Public charging stations for electric cars have long since become a standard fixture in many cities and towns. However, up until now such facilities have been few and far between for e-bikes – which is why the underlying concept of the E-Lounge is so exciting and intriguing. We were also impressed by how successfully the concept was executed. A product that has been consistently thought through down to the last detail, that is a joy to behold in public places, that is an appealing venue for social interaction, and that at the same time serves as a strong advocate for modern and eco-friendly mobility through the use of natural materials such as wood and metal. Exemplary.
